Personally if you want a raw muscle car, get an f-body and go broke making it fast. If you want a good preforming better riding car with a nicer interior get the GTO. I sometimes think I would almost want a GTO for my next car. I would just do headers, catback and tune. But i know that's a lie.... *sigh*
I sometimes wish I would have gotten the orange ls2 GTO I looked at, but when I get into my f-body I'm never not happy to be sitting in my rattling, hippy choking, fume spouting Camaro. GTO don't have that feeling to them.

Try to find a manual G8 if you want a comfortable DD car. Its a little bigger and heavier but I really like them over the gto. Mods are pricey though

Trans Am looks better and will be a fun summer/weekend toy. If this is what you are looking for, T/A all the way.
For a DD, I think the GTO will be better....nicer interior, more room, and IRS for a nice ride.
