Default 11.1 CR and N20 what plugs?

So as the title pretty much states I will soon have a 02 LS1 stock bottom end w/ prc 2.5 5.3 heads milled to 61cc. I am using stock GM headgaskets and from my math and what I've been told my CR will be right at 11.1.

My question is since I'm upping compression and keeping the 100 dry shot sprayed through the MAF what would be a good plug to use and not be a huge pain to DD.

Thanks for your help!!

Yeah a NGK br7ef is actually what I was thinking but I don't know how they will do in a true street car application. Do they foul easily, hard to tune, bad on DDing, etc.

I guess I'm wanting to know you guys with similar setups are running and had success with. Thanks again.

Ok brief it is then. My tuner is known locally to be "the guy" so I'm sure I'll be fine. He tunes all LS platforms from mild boltons to TT vettes.

Also on the BR7ef what should I gap them at? I am currently running the oh so naughty TR6 as of right now and if I was to switch to the BR7 now would it somehow change the tune or would I not notice any difference.

you should not even notice a difference between the 6 (i hate that plug get it out of your head) andthe 7, the tune should not change either. I believe 32 thousandths are what the 7's are gapped at. I will have to check

I agree. 7's are the correct plugs.
That's what I run on the street and have done plenty of 80 mile drives on them with no problems.

Cool thanks guys. I went and picked up 8 br7ef plugs yesterday. I'm picking up 8 more today.
