OP its great to start it and drive it for the first time. I LOVE the shake that my car has from the cam it definitely feels more like a muscle car than before the cam. Its almost as good as your first time...you guys know what i mean.

You know the first time you have relations with your lady friend. LOL Btw man I absoloutely LOVE your third gen. I've always had a thing for the "turd gen" camaros. I'll get one and do a LS swap someday.

Remember you are building the car for you. It's never finished, but the first startup is incredible. You realize it's something you put together.

Not sure how it is to drive a cammed/bolt-ons LS1 as all the f-bodies I have driven have been stock or close to it, but I have ridden in my cousin's Vortech supercharged C5 and it was a lot like this...

it was like driving a sports car for the first time all over again. made me realize how little of a response the motor was giving. Its like waking a bear up in the winter time by smacking him on the nose while wearing a salmon suit.

I took mine to church, and yes indeed, the old people did think it was cool. Old car guys ya know.

My gramps made my grandmother drive stag. lol

we pulled out from the church to go eat chinese and i hit it a lick in first and threw it sideways and smoked the tires and left some good 40 footers that are still there today.

he was smiling and told me to make sure i was careful to make himself feel better about enjoying it so much. then a honda tried a ricer flyby, and we made a quick meal of him. he got home, and i think inside he felt like he was in his 20's again.

thats what its like.

but yes you will want more power. i was at stock then 400rwhp was a must have... got 400....few months later had to have 600! oh man! 600. then got it, blew the motor...had to have 700...swapped a few things and now were shooting for 800-1000. lol. i dont know where it ends.

heres my car with just the cam. no stall. (lot faster with a stall and shift kit)

inside speedo

outside idle revs

flyby

and heres the car in its current state for ***** and giggles.
