Default Whats it like driving a cammed full bolt-on LS1?

So I've been attempting to get my build done but every time I buy something I read about something else I might as well buy when I'm in there and the list keeps building. My garage is full of "soon-to-be-installed" parts yet all I've gotten on so far is my damn lid and p&p'ed TB.

So what was your initial reaction and what was it like when you finally got all your stuff on and tuned? I still need at least another $400 in parts and I'm planning on doing my headers and cam with a knowledgeable friend but I know I'm going to have to pay someone to put in my 4.10's... So help inspire me by telling me how great it is to finish your build.

Long tubes and a cam with 410s will really wake it up. You will not be disappointed

My fathers LS2 C6 has full bolt-on's and it just recently got a cam. I'm impressed with how much the cam woke the car up, pulls super hard and that sound is just insane, was definitely worth it.

Default Laughed like a guy on drugs but that is my drug :-)

I just installed an EPS 222/226 113lsa with Kook headers y pipe a 3200 Yank stall and 3:42 gears and its a blast wow I dynoed at 360rwhp a gain of 47rwhp and at 5500rpm closer to 60rwhp gain My car is a blast to drive now and the whole thing sdhakes with the brake on at the light. I feel like a really have a muscle car now and I set my shift point at 61-6200rpm it pulled on the dyno until 6400rpm. I tried my car at 6400rpm and it was crazy but I decided to dial it down it did an extra 4-5hp and 10ft lbs of torque but I daily drive it and wanted no break down so I'm keeping the revs down

First start is the best, but everytime I start my car up in the mornings to let it warm up for work it just livens me up!

This^^

It's pretty cool at first, but sometimes I would just like a nice quiet/smooth car.

I'm an old timer when compared with the rest of the forum. I grew up around BB Chevys. So it feels like it takes me back to years gone by.

It's a lot more fun to drive and pulls pretty hard, but another 100rwhp and I'd be satisfied.

What is it like to drive a bolt on/ cammed ls1? It's like doing 1 pound of uncut Columbian Bam-Bam by yourself and then hopping onto an Atlas shuttle that has wheels.

**** in front of you comes up VERY quickly now! Letting it warm up in my garage usually attracts a crowd of neighbors. But I warn you... you WILL get bored and want more
