I thought the same thing. But it's what you don't see is what gets interesting.

It looks pretty clean for having a salvage title!
Well, take it to that body shop to see if there is frame damage.

If they say oh its just the body.. Then fix it up

Yea It don't look bad, take it somewhere and see if it's got a lot of frame damage. If not just fix the body.

I did talk to some professionals. It could be saved but the numbers would not work for a resale and a profit with a salvage title. If I wanted to keep it and drive it would be one thing but my origional idea was to part it out. Also the interior is not super slick either. It's OK but for a low milage car someone didn't take great care of it.

I say part it out, if you have the time and room to keep it.

We're finishing up some other projects but once we get some time we'll part it out. I have plans for the seats inside the interior as well. Any body parts will be for sale.

Thanks for the posts and opinions.

Is that Black interior? Don’t destroy another GTO, I would love to have that car. Let me know about interior parts you don’t want.

We have the car stored in an off site location. We really haven't had time to start disassembling the car yet. Like said, we've got to finish up a couple other projects before we get into this but then we'll get it parted out.

I'll try to get back as quickly as possible.
