Anyone know what is up with Patriot Performance?

I had ordered a set of dual gold valve springs for my lq9 build through maryland speed and was told they were on backorder, after about a month they refunded me saying they couldnt get ahold of patriot and their site was down...which it is. Anyone know what gives?

I've heard from numerous sources that they could not or were not paying their parts suppliers, so they had been getting cut off. Then started laying people off. Then got bought out, and continued same poor business practices, etc. It appears it snow-balled on them, and they have all but (or maybe they finally have) closed.

What a shame...a friend of mine gave me his dual gold kit...and i was gonna give him mine when it came in....recommendations for a similar quality/priced kit?

Anybody got any of the Patriot dual spring retainers laying around for sale? I'm missing three titanium retainers out of a set I ordered and now they are out of business . I hate to purchase a whole new set of springs for only three retainers.

I was told by a good friend of mine that they were actually bought out by another company and are going to re-open in a monyh or twq after everything is completed. We will see I hope so because I got a set of their heads.

There were several different vendors who produced those retainers, including Patriot themselves. If you want genuine USA made retainers of very nice quality I think they're available through Straub Technologies.


I have the original Xtreme springs available, except I have a lighter titanium retainer/lock package than the original Patriot parts.
