cam or nitrous?

cam or nitrous?
I currently have a zex wet kit that iv been on the fence about keeping and have also been thinking about putting a cam in my car possibly next year and cant decide which is better for my set up. I want to do one or the other right now. I know n2o has more power potential but the fact that it isnt always there and needs bottle refills kinda sucks. Which route should i go?
currently the car has full exhaust, ls6 intake, ss3600, and built transmission. Ill be getting drag radials and an ssra in the spring.
I dont dd the car as much as i used to but in the spring-fall drive it all the time.
thanks.

Between the two for a car you won't have at the track all the time, cam for sure.
Personally, I'd say both if you could afford it, but obviously selling the wet kit could fund your cam swap. I was at 420-440rwhp with my heads and cam and that was a lot of fun ofr a while. When that started to feel slow, I slapped on a 100-125 shot, and that was a blast when I really wanted to go fast.

I'd just keep the spray and save up for a cam kit. Then put them both on/in and use the spray for the the track or when you really need it. I agree about always having to fill the bottles and running out when you need it.

Stall and nitrous =
Low low 11 or high 10's on nitrous and that stall
It isn't expensive to fill up.. Like 35$ for me on a empty bottle (keyword empty) or if you want every last drop of the bottle, get a nano like I did
Only down side for either direction, you'll need a built trans. RPM makes the best, flt is a good alternative aswell.

im sure up where i am itll cost a bit more, tx is more performance car friendly in terms of shops than ct, and i only know of 2 places in my area that would fill bottles.
I already have an FLT

IMO, cam it. I'd keep the intake duration under 230 for a DD cam, and the exhaust duration any where from the same as intake lobes up to a 234. You can also go smaller with good results. FYI, the cam size you go with all depends on what you want/don't want from a cam upgrade. I'd consider selling the Zex wet kit, but only if you can get a good/fair price for it.

My 02 z28 ran 11.50 at 125mph on a 125 kit. Long tubes, full exhaust and a lid. Factory 3.23's on a radial. Car had no tune and 12% timing out which was too much. Picked up a ton of e.t. and mph with the converter on a smaller shot in the 8th, never ran it in the quarter again. If I had a gear it would have ran tens all day. 28* tires slowed her up.
Spray all day. No tuning problems, car wont ever have common problems with cams (not every car does), and it will be nice and enjoyable to drive around.

If you plan on doing heads and intake later on I would consider something a little more aggressive. Also i'd consider what rear end gear i'd want to run as well. Know what I mean?

I have a few ideas of what cams to go with just need to research more into them all. With my 3600 stall i have a wide range of cams i can look at.
How do you like the torquer v2? thats one iv been thinking about.

Personally I am very happy with this cam, but I also have 4.10 gears and a little higher compression from the heads. It has great drivability with no surging down as low as 1500 rpm. From what I have been seeing the Torquer 2 cam is a good all around cam for someone that may or may not be doing a full HCI swap. It also has a lower lift which is a little easier on the valvetrain in general
