need opinions?
alright, im just trying to get some ideas here, i currently own a 2000 camaro ss and im thinking about selling it for a 2004 corvette.
lists of mods for the camaro are..
motor:
trex cam; 242/248 .610/.608 @50 lift
trickflow 215cc heads
ls6 intake
bellows
slp lid
slp long tube headers
full exhaust
drivetrain
new ls7 clutch with 20 miles
cnc master cylinder
richmond stage 2 tranny
moser 12 bolt with 3:73's
suspension
umi long torque arm
hotchkis subrame connecters
hotchkis lower control arm
upgraded brakes
ahh couple other things i cant remember that i am stumped on..
but i also have a umi tubular front end replacement and it is broken at at the a-arm on the driver side(main reason now why want to sell)
i have other things i have bought for it like a fast 92 intake and injectors but no sense putting it on if selling the car..
on the other hand the corvette im trying to get now has
a lme built 346cu block
custom grind cam 232/243 .600 lift 115 lsa
stock heads but milled
A&A supercharger 12-13si boost
60lb injectors
25 shot nitrous
and dyno at 692rwhp on a mustang dyno
and more things to list but not going too..
so my main question is, sell my baby that i put my blood sweat and tears into that i did all the work with myself, or buy this other car save some headache with a car that has 30,000 miles on and motor built with 4000 miles or fix my camaro and keep it? story of my life here and it sucks lol any opinios welcomes and thanks for your time

Its always a tough choice, but my opinion is get the vette. Sounds like a killer set up, and I've always enjoyed how my Corvettes drove compared to my Camaros.

it is a very tough decision! to where if i get the vette, how long would i know that motor will last me? rather im granny driving it and/or hot rodding it, i wanna be able to get at least to 50,000 miles out of it before it would crap out on me, and it being a built 346ci block and pulling near to 700hp to the rear, idk how long that block could last pullng that much power to the wheels alone.

Why not just get a New UMI Road Race Version K-member, it stronger than their regular tubular K-member.

Im personally not a big fan of buying cars that have more than minor bolt ons. But the Vette does sound badass. If it was me id keep the camaro, and if you see a vette in your future pick up a stocker and invest yourself in it. In my opinion its much funner to see a car grow step by step then buying it already done, no doubt it will cost more and be more time consuming but well worth it for me atleast. And you will know the quality of the work done on the car. Eithe way goodluck man.

yeah thats good thing about my camaro. at least i can take pride and actually say i did all things that are done to it. but just tired of always having to fix something now more than to make it a better faster car, i cant enjoy it more than i have to replace or fix something. thats the only down fall of that car.
