Combo suggestions for a 5.3 stang build
Here it is.... I wanna go mid tens with a Lm7. I need to know what I need to do to achieve this goal. I plan on having nitrous as well. Maybe a 150 shot or so. Want to stay with the fuel injection as well. Any suggestions or testimony well be appreciated. The car will be a 93 Notchback stang with either a 4l80e or 60e. I'm open to all

5.3 truck manifold turbo setups make tons of power on a budget, or just do forged bottom end/383 and spray it a 200+ shot. What's your budget? Because you have to get the power to the ground too.

well a fast 92 intake and TB big cam and some 799 heads would get you into the 425 hp range i think... idk what it takes to get that car that fast tho.. dont forget a stall converter and some big tires lol

im going with near the same swap as you. It looks like they really like being on a carb setup. Im doing it in a 91 with a Hook N Chassis K member. Hes a local shop that actually tig welds everyting and hes making them so you can adjust the motor 1" foreward or backward.
I have been planning on running a carb setup with nitrous. Maybe try and find some 243 heads for a good price and change to efi at a later date with a turbo when my budget is bigger. Im in the middle of selling all my sbf parts and have accumulated around 2k so far and still have some more to sell off the car.
Good luck im hoping for high 10's low 11's with a junkyard, h/c/i with 150 shot.

Thanks for the advice. Budget is maybe around 6k for the build. Maybe more. I picked 5.3 for the compression. Want to do a turbo later. How is the driveability of the carb? I wanna maybe make it a daily driver.
