Can you explain why you need it to get outside air temp?

I just used a foot of zip-cord and soldered it in close to the PCM,
with the sensor tucked up under the cowl sump plastic.

You want real outside air because fooling the PCM that it's hot,
makes over-lean operation and timing pull. Hard starting and
tip-in ping.

If the in-taken air is hotter than the reading, your result is only
an over-rich fueling, which closed loop can take out and which
causes no real misbehavior other than MPG.
