I have two dream F bodies. One I am currently building which is my black 02 ws6.

Lightweight streetable show quality fully re done and painted drag car using a big blower. runs 8's at the track and I can drive it there and runs on pump gas(e85)

My next one... Is a second ws6 ....blue with a JY 5.3 or 6.0 and a 76mm on it with a 6 speed Dirty and daily driven and running mid to low 10's banging gears with full weight. nothing done accept replacing the things that would break under the 600-700hp itd make.

Take my car, drop a cammed LS3 6spd in it with a 9 inch, with several appearance mods that I don't think have even been done to a car on this forum before.

I can dream anyway. I'm (very) slowly working on the appearance stuff as the powertrain is fine with me for now and I got my suspension mostly squared away this spring.

I would love a purple firebird formula Ws6 with less than 5K miles..

Besides that, I'm not too picky.

I got the pleasure of seeing a 1,3XX mile 02 CETA today. Still had the air bag warning on the rear view! LOL

My silver '98 Z28 is actually my dream (4th gen) F-body. Only thing that could make it better would be fewer options; like crank windows, no traction control, etc. That probably sounds crazy to the average member of this site, but I had a higher trim level version that I bought brand new (WS6) and frankly it just didn't suit me as well.

Any excellent or near-mint condition Z28 or SS in silver, white, green, and maybe SOM, with as few options as possibile, would be on my list of dream 4th gens.

I'd kill for a hardtop Trans Am Ws6 (I know, I know), manual windows/locks, power driver/manual passenger seats, no cruise, no traction, no rear defrost.. White, Pewter, Red, Purple, Gold... NO particular order for the most part.

I like the added options with the power seats that manual doesn't provide, I'm VERY picky with my seating position while driving.

FWIW.. I wouldn't actually kill someone.. But it doesn't mean I can't dream about it so I could acquire my dream Fbody. LOL

O.. After that, I would make one of the quietest most tame 7-800Rw car I could possibly do while retaining a 100% full weight/functioning car.

My dream F-Body... well..
dream f-body-s42alrw.jpg

Hard to beat that one... the '72 will always be my favorite year.

My dream 4th gen, though.... I think I have it now. That SOM Firehawk Formula is pretty sweet, though.

Well, if we're talking about dream F-bodies of any generation, then I would definitely pick this (in fact, if anyone is interested in trading one of these for a 16k mile 4th gen, let me know!):

You could get a hardtop WS6 T/A in the LT1 years.

True..

That old saying comes back though.. Beggers can't be choosers.

If I had a car of such caliber and my choice.. It would be factory.
