I think you over did it with the 1.8 rockers, I would think its bleeding compression. A large cam it ok, but set it up the way it was ground 1.7s Just my 2cents. You got to rev it to the sky to find the power!

you might be on something here. when i checked the cam card it calls for a set 1.7 rockers. i really have to step in it to feel the power i noticed that fe days ago.

My cam is close to what you have 239/247, I found it likes PRMs. With 1.8 it took to long to get the power, when I change back to 1.7s, still like RPMs, but came in a lot sooner.

i talked to few people and everybody tells me that my stock fuel injectors are holding me back. also the cam is small for the 408 stroker. im gonna invest in a set of 52 lb fuel injectors and chuck from texas tuning speced a cam shaft for the motor that would wake the beast up. the specs on the current cam is at .050 is 237/243 and 600/600 lift with 109 lube separation. the cam he spec'd is 247/254 at .050 and 624/615 lift with a 110 lube separation.this would make bigger power but i need a good tuning guy because its a such a radical cam to make it run right.
