N/A or Forced Induction?
Ive been pondering as to which way to go once i get my car. (1998-2002 T/A LS1 M6) Should i go for N/A w/ cam, maybe heads, full exhaust etc or go forced induction and put a turbo/ TT setup? I know i can potentially get more power with the turbo, but adding such stuff on can be a little overcomplicated. BUT I need to be able to drive it in the city and get decent MPG. I think i can get better mpg with a turbo setup, but idk yet. after reading a lot of posts it is pretty close? What do you guys think? Or would putting in a bigger LS be the answer? Thanks!!

The roadside is littered with the burned out remains
of turbo kit companies. Every damn thing there is
custom, seems like. The blowers, there's less variety.
Cam choice definitely depends on plans.
You've got to be reasonable about what you want.
Want to brag about horsepower? Must have turbo.
But odds are you will not hook up even a mild N/A
and odds also are you don't have the road to use
the turbo's top end (or N/A, realistically) and maybe
you really just want a decent driving experience and
no extra hassles.
There's always somebody faster.

Nice set of heads, custom cam, ls6 intake (if you get 98-00 car), ported t.b, good clutch, keep the 3.42's but beef up your diff a little and you'll be good to go. Get decent mileage and plenty of power without HAVING to have drag radials at all times. Hope this helps
