fat and slow
what i am wanting to do is take a little weight off the front, I was reading last night in the forced induction session and seen some pic of a car that had the upper fender supports Swiss cheesed for more weight reduction. Already have the impacted bumper removed and a battery relocation done to the car.
what i'm not sure about is if I do this' is this going to make my car weak , At this time I don't have a cage and don't know if I will ever put one in it.
like to hear some comments , all advice appreciated
thank in advance

GM built the car to be safe and cheap. Cheap meaning least amount of material possible. I wouldn't swiss cheese a street driven car unless you have a cage in it. You are going to want whatever structural integrity the car has if you run into something. Have you removed the A/C, emissions, power steering, etc?

Any more details on car, power? Planned power? I know reducing weight increases speed, but I prefer building more power and leave thecar alone. Mines full weight full interior all lluxuries still there. And I put in a 6pt roll bar. I overcome the weight with nitrous.

I'm a good driver, but if some fuqbag decides to doushbag me at an intersection, I want all I can get in between us
