Haha both my parents claim they wake up everytime i start it and the cop and my other neighbor have said something to me. But i think the dual dual will be better in the long run. Im thinking next winter i want to throw a cam in it so it may be overkill with the loudmouth haha. Corsa sounds awesome BTW!

Mines loud as hell.I get self conscious about it sometimes but mostly i find my self downshifting to accentuate it.Never had a complaint…Lots of compliments though!

My Z28 is not loud at all, even though my cat-back is the same as my V6's. Bullet muffler in the i-pipe then splits into a t-pipe after the axle and into Flowmaster slash cut tips.
That set up with mid-length headers, a magnaflow cat and a cammed engine on my 3.8's you could hear well from a couple blocks away and and make alarms chirp at me lol
I guess its the dual cats and manifolds on my LS killing the volume?

I have hedman lt's, ORY and Corsa as well. It's loud as **** without being cammed. I couldn't imagine you sneaking out of a complex on a cold start. once its warmed up i could see it. it's pretty mellow at idle

A guy came up to me in my apartment complex and says man that's a nice car, you know every morning I hear you start that thing I know it's time to get up! Says I'm his alarm clock

My GTO has Kooks, with Borla XR-1's and it sounds great. Yes, I do have to shut the car off when I'm ordering McDonald's but everyone likes the way it sounds.

My 02 C5Z(LS 6-434ci) has kooks 1 7/8" long tubes, and 3" borla true duals to borla stingers to 4" Borla tips. Sounds like a monster under load, but fairly quiet at idle.

I dont use it daily but its a 402 LT's gutted cats. x pipe no mufflers with a more agressive cam and i felt bad starting it up in the morning with neighbors and their kids but they all stop me on the way home and say how much they like the car so im not too worried. one neighbor said my car is like his alarm clock, he knows he needs to get up when he hears me start it up. haha
shitty sound quality but almost sounds like cleanZ's in person.
my camaro before i sold it was pretty much a daily before i sold it.
full throttle at 1:23

The SS is pretty loud but with tone and without rasp.
Loud enough that the old ladies in my condo complex give me nasty looks and the old guys compliment it and reminisce about their old muscle cars. I creep through the neighborhood because of the speed bumps and because it's an active community with kids running around, however I would love to see the look on one particular old lady's face if just one time I gave it a good rev beside her. I predict there would be a bout of incontinence.
As for the setup: TSP 1-7/8" headers, ORY, Magnaflow catback with a cutout in the i-pipe. Usually keep the cutout open 30-40% to get the added volume without the rasp. The rest flowing through the catback helps give it a good tone.
