Default Insurance question

Ok guys so I was wondering how much of a difference insurance would be on a trans am vs a base model c5. If anyone has any ideas please chime in.

Call your insurance co and get a quote. Geico said it would cost me an extra $60 a year for the same year C5 versus my Z28.

too many variables to even ballpark this. age, driving history, years licensed in state, married, location, mileage driven yearly, etc.

Default My 2 cts.

While both cars would fall into the sports car class, the collision on Corvette repairs and value could be much more. That is my 2 cents, if I got my liability and collision correct.

There's also the instance of the Corvette being cheaper due to the "normal" demographic of owners. Not sure that's the case now since they've become so affordable to the masses, but 10+ years ago that was the case.

When I went from a 2001 V-6 Firebird to a 2002 WS6 Trans Am my insurance actually went down.

Could be different safety features, perhaps I had crossed into a better age group, maybe my financial situation was better, don't know. But the full coverage insurance was less for the Trans Am than for the Firebird.

If you don't drive it a bunch, I got mine insured as a "classic" through Hagerty @ about $400/year

If it isn't your regular daily driver, call Haggerty and get agreed to value. It is very inexpensive!
