Default LS6 Cam in 6.0 - New pushrods???

Are new pushrods needed for a LS6 cam in a 6.0 truck engine? It has LS1 heads if that matters.

The higher lift LS6 cam has a smaller base circle. GM made the valves .0236" longer to give the proper preload with the production length (7.385") pushrod. IIWY I'd run .080" wall 7.4" long pushrods with .045" thick Cometic head gaskets as well as have the heads surfaced .010". Are you running corresponding LS6 (yellow or blue) valvesprings ????
