Default Can someone please explain this?

So I was browsing Youtube for decent cam clips when I came across this YJ GTO with no intake connected to his throttle body.....wtf? is that even possible? I can understand you would get amazing airflow, but what about the side effects so to speak...engine light amongst other things? Would you do this/recommend it?

Speed density tune.

Even with a MAF and it being disconnected like that, the vehicle will run fine under WOT.

Well, sucking all kinds of crap into the motor sure sounds like a "bad idea" to me . . . You would NEVER find that on MY car !
