Default new to the 5.3 world. need some tips

im building foxbody with a 5.3 lm7. my plan is to see what I can get out of it. I have a s474 borg warner turbo I had built 1.10 ar forward facing headers. I started building turbo kit it should be welded up this week. I have 2 intakes. the 5.3 truck int or a ls1 intake. I plan on trying to put 18 to 20 psi to it what intake should I use.

Ls1 intake will be better since the truck intake falls off above 5600 rpm

It falls off around there in N/A application... I'm sure with forced induction that wouldn't be the case.

To the OP what accessories are you going to run? I would consider more do form and function, Unless you don't mind spending the money to make one work over the other. Obviously the LS1 intake will clear under the hood, does the truck intake? Fuel system stuff as well as far as what you have and what you don't have.

Both intakes have no problem holding the boost.

Do you know where that lm7 came from? If I were you I'd pull the valve covers off and make sure it doesn't have castech heads or you may run into a coolant lose issue.
