Default new heads/cam...timing?

Rebuilding my 02 ls1.... Getting new heads..cam.. Larger tb and intake..headers etc..

is there a certain way to adjust valves on heads to have correct timing? Or..just slap new heads on, line up cam mark with crank and will just automatically be all lined up after lifters/rods/rockers are all in place and torqued? thanks

its a monday.. brainfart

You don't adjust valves in an LSx engine, that's old school stuff.

You can adjust the cam timing, but most people just line it up dot to dot and that's it given that the cam is ground in exactly as they wanted.
