Default 2012 Camaro LS3 engine removal from the top?

Ill be removing my engine from the top to do a new pickup tube. Bent the flange slightly when i did my oil pump last year. No problems with it but im going to replace it anyway. Id also like to replace the pan gasket as the timing covers been off twice. I can torque the oil pickup bolt and make sure its all done right.
Im currently doing a 2nd cam and lifters and decided id rather pull the engine and fix the pick up tube and do some other mods wile the engines out.
I decided to install a
Improved Racing oil baffle new GM oil pan gasket
Monster Billet release bearing support
Monster 18" remote bleeder Where will this put the bleeder? I dont want it to short but dont want it coiled up too long. I want it were i can use it under the hood.
Anything else wile the motors out?
What all do I have to do to remove the engine? The heads are off already.
Will the hood have to come off to clear? Cant find any threads on this. I have a engine hoist and stand.
Can the engine be put back in with the heads on?
Any tips remove or install.
