This is old news. When the LS1 started dominating the SB V8 Ford competition in the late '90s, there were some diehard Ford fans that took issue with this and have tried their best to give Ford credit for the LS design.
If Ford had this all figured out, then why was this engine not placed into Mustang GT first and instead?
The whole argument is stupid really. Off the top of my head, the LS also shares a firing order with old Cadillac 429ci V8s. If anyone took the time to do further research, I bet they could find design elements that were similar to many different engines.

It's all bullshit, The Ford guys have to have something to say when they get their asses handed to them by a Chevy. If ford designed it then why do Fords still suck? Why do you hear about all the Chevy engine swaps into fords but rarely hear of a ford swapped into a Chevy?
Why do 95% of the typical dirt track cars run a Chevy engine?
I even have an Uncle that is diehard Ford all the way that has been into Late Models/Stock Cars/Drag Cars/Dirt Trucks for as long as I can remember and they have all ran Chevy power! Hell even he admits Chevy makes a better engine.

That's the first time I had ever saw this, i did however reply to the the one who tagged me with this b.s., my reply was that if every time I saw a fast mustang or any fast ford for that matter and lifted the hood and saw an lsx staring back at me I guess I'd be a little butt hurt to lol. But I didn't realize that this was an oldie.
