Default Turbo suggestions for 71 Datsun 240Z LS swap

Let me start by saying Im generally a Ford guy so I'm learning as I go (may ask a few ignorant questions). I have a Terminator diveline in my 93 coupe fox body Mustang. Love the car, but I'm building a second car now. Details below.

Ride: 1971 240Z
Engine: 2005 5.3 L33. LS1 intake, TSP Torquer V2 cam, PAC 1518 springs.
Trans: 4L80e (still need to source)
Rear: Sticking with the IRS, yep it will break...many times.

I plan on going the budget turbo route, flipped manifolds, 2 1/4 crossover, 50mm WG etc. Goal is 600-650 whp. What are my best turbo choices? I was look at the ON3 76mm, ON3 7678, or twin chinese GT35R from Fleabay. I have a old set of T04b 57 trim 60a/r turbo but I think there too small.

Questions:

Should I run the .96 exhaust or 1.10 if I go single?
If I go gt35r twin would a .63 exhaust or a .81 be better?

Thanks

Ryan

Ready to build the turbo system

depending on your funding there is a few rear option for the z so you dont keep blowing it up. yes while still retaining the irs.

flipped manifold, on3 76mm .96, 38mm wastegate,2" cross over. is my setup. super budget build. cheap and effective.

at 19psi the car boost solid and pretty good match to the 5.3 if you ask me.
good for your powergoal.

100%stock internals lm7 and holding great.

You should move this to this to the turbo section, you'll get more support there.

On the Mustangs they start breaking around 600 whp mark. I have a 93 fox with a terminator motor and trans. I run the T56 trans in it with great success. Its notchy as hell. Look into the viper mod if you ever install one.
