Hey guys starting a build in the spring. I will be starting on a 88 Chevy C1500. I will be working on a "budget" Trying to decide what route to take. The motor is a 2000 4.8l plan on doing a cam, springs and some head work. I am trying to decide on a fuel source I have never done a fuel injection swap but I am interested in the option. A carb swap is what I would be use to. As far as my location I am roughly an hr and half plus away from any local destination that would do any sort of tuning on the fuel injection. What would the Pros and Cons be? Also as far as a transmission option I am stuck between a TH400 or 4l60/80E, truck will have a 3:73 gear My daily driving is 35-55 village and town driving, local track runs and maybe a minor autocross run. Any information is greatly appreciated
