I bought some valve covers and coils that were off a Camaro.. I don't recall what year it was


I figured they would bolt onto any head GM puts out.. but I just got some LS3 heads and these will not bolt up. I need a "Center bolt" style valve cover.

Does anyone what these came off of???? Were they only used on 1998 LS1s?

Yes, the perimeter bolt valve covers were 98 only.
99-02 were center mount.

I'm pretty sure all the coils are the same. 99-02 use brackets iirc.

Damn.... hopefully the demand for these is high (unlikely)... need to sell them..

I do not think the demand for them is high at all due to any after market head or the usual port and polish 243/799 heads from the ls6 all have center mount
