Hi guys new here. Well anyways my 07 avalanche engine is drinking oil like it does gas. Im wanting to do a 6.0 swap. I do know the stock tranny will bolt up.
The main question i have is what year is the easiest to swap in. What are the difficulties with these swaps?
Ive heard 07+ lq9 is best for wiring sake? Any help is greatly appreciated.

LQ9 was a Gen 3 motor, you will need a Gen 4 motor. You could get an LY6/L96 or L92/L9H...depending on whether or not you have VVT none of them may be a direct swap, you might have to delete the VVT, which 5.3 do you have?
