Get a hold of a caliper and measure for yourself. If your motor mounts are aged, I recommend getting a set of poly motor mounts to install while you are at it as that should help with fitment.

All tubing is measured from the outside. Get a set of dial calipers preferably digital and measure the outside diameter on a straight run of the tubing, the bends will be distorted somewhat. It should read around 1.875 if they are 1 7/8, 1 3/4 should be 1.750.

As a after thought, Harbor freight has a decent digital dial caliper that will more than suffice for this job for Cheap!!
