Lq4 with 216/220 cam ,ideas and help?
So I'm wanting to swap my 04 blazer, this is my daily driver so I don't want to much of a high horse power crowd pleaser... I already have an lq4 that's been rebuilt and freshened up it only has 70,000 miles I was going to put it in my Camaro but I ended up getting a built LS2 short block, I was planning on milling the 317 heads 035.,I'll see if I can get some 243 heads if not the 317 will be fine ,A Cam kit is in the budget ,as far as the intake if the budget allows I'm planning on getting a fast 92 but I currently have a ported LS6 intake, now for the Cam kit I want a low lift cam because this is going to be my daily driver and I'm trying to make this as budget friendly as possible not building a race motor let's keep that in mind, I was thinking of getting the Texas speed 216/220 550 550 cam on 113 lsa, figured this cam offered drivability with decent pick up, and having somewhat good gas mileage, sounds nice as well,I was doing some research on how much it should would make which it doesn't mater on this build but it's projected to make around 390 maybe more, sorry for the long paragraph but if anybody can give me some input on different cam ideas or heads it will be greatly appreciated .

That cam is good for what you want to do. There Is some wiggle room there, you could get another 5-7 degrees of intake/exhaust duration and still be happy with it in a 6.0.
You might be able to trade the 317s for 241 heads. They go for about the same price, if not the 317s a few dollars more.
It'll bring the torque up in the LQ4 without going through the hassle/cost of trying to find good 243/799 heads.
