I'm tempted in buying a used 2002 Camaro Z/28-SS Clone w/ mods...exactly what I've wanted for awhile. Just scared of the mileage 140,000. Here is a list of mods that he has installed:
Clean Title
5.7 LS6 block w/ stock 241 heads
TSP cam kit 227/235 dual springs, titanium retainers
Trunion on rockers
Vigilante 3800 Stall
Spoon Solid Motor Mounts
Poly Trans mount
TSP 1 7/8 stainless LT's off road Y SLP LM1 dumped before axle
C5 z06 18 wheels
MSD Wires NGK tr55s
SLP Lid
New Konis and BMR 1.25 springs
BMR LCAs and panhard bar (both)
3.42 gears
New window motors and steering rack
Going to install a trans cooler 24k
Does mileage scare y'all? Questions I should ask before buying? The guy seems very legit and doesnt seem to have beat this car to pieces.
Thank you,

Whats the mileage on the mods? Do you have a little cash squared away if something happens? These cars are pretty reliable at higher mileages but they do lose a lot of their value proportionally. I would use the high mileage as an opportunity to get a good deal if the car meets your expectations otherwise.

I bought my 1999 TA with 120k miles on it and currently have 146k miles. No major repairs after the first year. Get it checked out by a shop and good luck!

I'm at 207k and to my knowledge the engine has never been opened up. Emissions delete, long tubes and a tune is basically it.
Just focus on oil pressure and look for signs that it's been maintained properly. If you don't feel comfortable walk away and find something that's either nicer or cheaper with known problems.

B4C is a police car. That's why the carfax for the first owner doesn't say personal. That car started life as a pursuit vehicle with all the performance goodies that it needed to chase down badguys. B4C is a rare option that some people will spend extra for.

I'd find out how long it was under LEO ownership. Miles may not be bad, but oftentimes police vehicles have stupid amounts of idle time. I'd also be leery of "400 miles on mods". Would you drop all that coin on mod'ing a car and sell it 400 miles later? Ask for receipts on the parts and check the dates. That'll at least give you an idea.
