Default Lq4 6.0 oil pressure issue

Hopefully someone can help. I'm sure oil pressure issues have been covered many times and I've read over lots of them with no success. I have a lq4 was a running motor with no issues came out of a wrecked truck. Changed heads to 243s, cam, intake etc. I replaced the oil pump and pickup while I was changing cam. I have the jegs pan to work in my Camaro that uses the remote filter. I have 60lbs of pressure at the filter adapter but when it leaves the filter it drops. Yes the barbell is in place. I can unscrew the electric gauge sensor at the rear of the intake and it has no pressure and only trickles a little oil out. As it warms up I start getting lifter noise and shut it down. Sorry for the long post, please help what am I missing.

Have you replaced the oil filter? Were there any specific instructions with the pan on a certain oil pump to use since the filter would be a remote mount?

I had the same problem with my lq4 and 243 heads. I changed the oil filter to a mobil 1 and my problem went away.

Double check you didn't plumb the remote filter backwards.

Only run ac delco oil filter on my car . I had issues with my 98 ss oil pressure surging with other brands went to acdelco problem solved. Mobil 1 may be same but always stuck to the delco on this part.
