Default powdder coating harmonic balance

Any reason I can't powder coat my 2004 5.3l LS1 vortec harmonic balancer? Plan is to protect and keep powder away from crank sleeve (crank hole) and pulley ribs where belt rides, sand blast the rest of pulley and powder coat/bake?

If it's the stock type with bonded rubber you probably don't want to bake it at 400* No real reason to powder coat it since it doesn't see any kind of abuse like the frame and suspension parts do.

It is the stock balancer but I don't see any rubber on it anywhere, maybe I'm missing something. I do my own powder coating and have a half dozen parts I am getting ready to coat and thought I would throw it in. If it had any rubber I would not be baking it, just can't see any.
