I have a 2001 gmc yukon xl 5.3L vortec 4×4 my truck will start then die immediately this is all it will do over and over I've let it sit and have nothing I have spark I have fuel dont know what it is anyone else experiencing these same issues or have in the past I need help it's my every day driver!!!!!!

Sounds like the Anti Theft feature. VATS. Runs for 2 seconds and shuts off

Yes something like that the yellow security light pretty much has always flashed not when running but my key fob doesn't work except the panic button what do I do to try and fix it if that's the problem?

FInd someone with tuning software to disable the feature. Otherwise it can be an expensive issue to fix.
