Yellow, this is my first post on this forum, I have an lq9 in a 2001 silverado reg cab shlong box and I'm looking to install a sloppy stage 2 cam, and am wondering what valve springs and tourque converter I should use, it's going to be a daily so high stall is not really an option and I don't want it to suck in low rpm. Any info is helpful, thanks

I previously ran the Sloppy Stage 2 in my LQ9 regular cab short bed 2000 Sierra. The recommended springs for the SS2 cam are the PAC 1218 springs. I have the Circle-D 278mm 3,200 stall and it drives like stock until you romp down on the throttle, very streetable converter and affordable too. The 278mm is actually a re-worked Trailblazer I-6 converter, Chris at Circle-D says it's good up to 700hp.
Here is some cruising and idle with the SS2 cam and the 3200 stall.
