Picked up a clean 1 of 2 Hardtop Pontiac Formula Firehawk recently after adding up everything I'd need to buy just to get my old Camaro Z28 running.

Future plans are possibly getting a different cam, as well as upgraded heads, Koni 4/4s, Some nicer/lighter wheels and swapping my Strano springs on. The end goal for this car is a nice pro touring style 4th gen to complement the more drag race oriented direction the Camaro will be taking.
Car made 560 hp, 494tq, I hope in the future to push it to or over 600hp NA
Nice way to come back into the F world. What made you go for another 4th gen instead of going for an S550, Mopar or whatever else the little kids are into these days?

Thanks, I'll always love these cars for their simplicity. While the S550s are nice I didn't want a payment and for what they cost there's other cars I'd rather buy plus I know how to work on these cars whereas I'm not too familiar with the Ferd stuff . I was actually trying to buy my buddies Procharged C5Z but he sold it before I had enough saved to pick it up.
I'm also eyeing the UMI/Strano coilover setup as well as DSE's coilover setup but I'm leaning more towards the UMI since I'm not sure I want to put 4K worth of suspension into this car as I still want to buy a narrowed rear, wheels and better heads for this car before I start refocusing on the Camaro finally.
