I have a potential transplant for my swap- A 5.3 Vortec with matching transmission -4L60E (88K miles). Unfortunately it is off a 4 wheel drive truck. I am looking to swap it into a rear wheel drive cutlass- If I change the transmission to a two wheel drive shaft, will the original wiring from the transmission still work? And what would I do about the speed sensor. Should I bag the transmission and just get the motor, or hold out to find a matching set from a 2 wheel drive truck.
