Random question my car might be featured in a magazine do think it would be bad idea to feature the car with a story about the shop that literally stole money for personal use?

I would, the editor who writes up your article most likely won't print the actual name/ people of the shop. But use that info to show the hardships you endured to get the car to where it currently is. I'd add any and all back stories on the car .

That sounds more like a story that should be shared with local law enforcement and, depending on the amount, perhaps a lawyer or at least a small claims judge. What you need here is a police report more than anything.

I have a truck (that’s for sale) that has been featured in two magazines, and they wanted the dirt. The crazier the backstory, the better. The editors love to get creative with stuff like this. They get tired of the same ole’, same ole’, same ole’… As said above, it will get edited to pieces, but it’s your place to get them all the info you can. Makes for a cool read when it’s published.

Absolutely agree... Tell things like how you got the car, life changing events that have happened surrounding that car. Times of bad/ combined with the perseverance to keep on finishing your beloved project, and what/why it means to you over the years of progress. When it gets published please report back, many here (including myself) would love to see the feature on your car.
