I was on here a lot from '98-2009. I had a 98 Z28. Sold it after a divorce I sold (gave it away), I got a 2010 SS. Loved it.

But she burned to the ground with the engine parked and the ignition off. Totaled.

Yes, that was me crying as the firefighters put out the flames. I had just spent 17k in mods the month before, including a D1SC Supercharger. Allstate cut me check for 20k....waaay undervalued. She was a 2010 with 10k miles. I could not find a Camaro replacement I looked for another Camaro, but I ended up with a 98 C5 Vette, fully modded. Ok enough rambling on, sorry. Here is my tech question; are all manual shifters adjustable? B&M shifter, She grinds 2nd.

The Corvette guys are not tech savvy like you guys. The C5 does have an LS1, so I hope I can come here like the good ol' days.

That sucks about the 2010 SS, any thoughts on where the fire started? My son in law had a 2010 Silverado that caught fire sitting in his driveway. Something electrical in the center console. It too was a total loss.

C5's are cool especially mod'd. What all's been done to the car? Pics?

She's modded with AFR Heads, FAST intake, big lopey cam, CAI, long tubes, Z51 suspension package, lowered, B&M super short shifter, 90mmTB with MT DR's out back. She is quick. I hate the notchy short-shifter though.

Electrical, but no one is officially saying what it was. I will say this; Advance Auto Parts installed a new battery in the back and the fire started 20 minutes later.
