Long story short fellas, I have a 2002 trans am, I had a landscaping truck run me off the road a couple months ago, jumped the curb hard, both my airbags deployed, was not a fun ride. Luckily I did not hit anything. I got the car home, replaced the windshield, replaced both the steering wheel and passenger side airbags from a good rated salvage yard. The problem is the airbag light on the dash will not go off.. I am not sure what to do to get it off, I read there is an impact sensor under the front bumper, not sure If that needs to be replaced, do I have to take it to a dealership to get it turned off,, Any help would be appreciated,, thanks

If you have access to an OBD2 scanner that can reads airbag codes, I'd scan the car and see if it has airbag codes. Knowing the airbag codes, if any may help troubleshoot the issue.
