Help help any advice .
I bought a 2015 ls1 march 2023. Had oil changes a d checked over every 3 months as I paid $10k cash and it was all I had saved. All was fine. I bought after market gas cap. Which would throw air flow code and say tightne gas cap. Had mentioned to mechanic said probably bc it was after market no biggy. It ran fine other than after awhile seemed to eat more gas but not sure 100% was still new to me.
In nov 2023 driving just fine suddenly sounded like chain broke it shut off and I coated to side if rd. And wouldn't turn over again. Due to locked motor obviously. Come to find out spark plug in cylinder 1 had hit piston breaking the piston ring. Would I likely need a new motor or possibly be able to fix piston and ring and replace all plugs and it be ok. How to find out or what not. Sorry may sound dumb but I'm 47 yo female know nothing but to watch my gauges and put in gas until divorce few years ago I've done a lil more like check oil and change tire. Other than that I'm lost. Any advice would help I'm literally sickened over this I love my car I got it by myself was car I've always loved and this would happen . Lol

A "2015 LS1" is not possible. The LS1 engine had already been out of production for about a decade by 2015, so we can't really guess at which engine you have nor what car it is in.
Beyond that, it sounds like there is major engine damage and a rebuild will be required.
