Well, let's see. The other day I figured I was in my car aprox $25,000 total so far and I only bought my car for $200. I think I'll be in it $35k when all said and done. Who knows.

Ok, now that I spent money on H/C, 90/90 setup, cutout, cam, stall, tranny cooler, and labor. A little over 20k.

10k+ just on the motor. I try not to think about it some times cause my car is not even running yet! 3 more weeks and I should be up and going.

my 383 in 99 cost about 20k itself. since then I've learned to do EVERYTHING myself and saved a LOT of money by doing so. now I'm running a 408 and am pulling it out for a rebuild.
I've had 3 sets of headers, many exhaust setups, , 5 intakes, 4 cams, 3 heads, 4 clutches, 8 M6's (long story), many sets of slicks, I'm just going to stop now...

over $25k. Including 2 different heads and cam packages before settling on the stroker. That includes a tranny rebuild the Ram clutch and 2 rear ends.

I am at 4k right now. However, thats with bolt ons, some appearance mods, and a new 10 bolt from Chevy. I have the cam, but need/want the valvetrain, heads, 12 bolt, TH400, new stall for that, full suspension, forged 408 shortblock, different cam for that, turbo, another turbo, an intercooler, BS3, a direct port N20 setup, new fuel system, fuel cell, more than likely several tunes, a cage, drag/street interior, new hood, a Honda for me to drive everyday instead of this car, and probably a good divorce lawyer so I don't lose it all when she finds out how much I really spent!

I voted i'm not finished as the maintenance on my valve train related items I just don't know what to expect. that and i've still gotta look into some more safety items. i'm in the 20,000-35,000 range though at this point without the price of the car factored in though

Spent a total of $400 in mods the first 7 1/2 years. Just blew that number away this week. Car is in the shop now

Around 11K total as it stands now. Probally another 4 to 5K down the road.

I bought the car for $7500 and it came with the lid, catback, shifter, and SFC already on, and PHB, new plugs and wires not installed yet.

- Ported LS6 oil pump: $400(got a shop to do it the week I bought the car)
- Longtubes/ORY/o2 extensions: $636
- Clutch/flywheel swap(ARP flywheel and PP bolts, too): $600(Used new ARP flywheel and PP bolts and still on stock 98 hydraulics for now)
- Wheels/tires - $700
- Dynotune - $300

That's a round-a-bout figure of $2,636 in mods I've paid for after I bought the car, not counting the mods it had on it. Had it since March 05.

10-20K's , but WELL on my way to the next bracket.. hell if i REALy took the time to add up all my different set ups, im sure i would allready be in the 20-30K range, but im not trying to think about that.. let alone let the wife know exactly how much has been spent..

this 408 set up alone that im doing right now has me over $10k....

I have had my car for 10 months and I have about $4k in parts already, It would prbably be twice that if I had to pay to have stuff installed.
