I own an 02 Stang, should I sell it and get an LS1?

Sold my stock 02 GT 5 speed vert, bought 00' WS-6 6 speed.
Night & Day, stang felt like a 6 cylinder compared to this, plus for me, WS-6 is way more comfortable.
Selling WS-6 now if your interested?

haha! this is funny! i had traded my 02 sonic blue gt in to buy a 02 formula. i wanted an ls1 because with just a cam swap, and minor bolt-on's i would still be able to beat a gt with a blower on it! for me it was: put a KB on the gt, or trade it in for an ls1, and put less than 2 grand into it...
long story short, i bought the formula and i am happy that i got out of the blue oval rut. .02 cents.

I still miss my 98' SS specs in sig still....... For some reason I found this 99 cobra with a P1SC procharger on it for $15k and 48k miles so far so good (damn that intercooler helps), added xpipe, spintechs and a tune. not bad I guess going from 320hp stock to 434RWHP and 496@ the crank.Takes stock 03/04 cobras pretty well. Now the ones with a pulley and tune, that can be another story. Id still buy a T/A -Camaro anyday, as long as it isnt rice I dont care.Unless its the RX7 the guy swapped my LS1 into from my wrecked SS (thats gotta be badass). Mine ran great until the day it hydroplaned @ 85 mph into a guardrail on I-95. +1 though still for the ls1 over the 02 GT though, the SOHC 4.6's suck ***.

Mustangs are awesome cars. Good bang for the buck, they look awesome and sound amazing. Everytime I pass a 99-04 GT I stare. The only problem is I could spank stock/bolt-on GTs all day if I wanted to. That's not cool.
Get a Mach 1 or an LS1. But know, that the LS1 has much more potential for power with the 346.

its up to you.....with the right mods(nitrous or FI) you can make a stang a pretty strong running car. Biggest disadvantage is that you are starting off with significantly less power stock for stock vs. an LS1...

I'm trying to sell my '04 sonic blue GT right now for an '01-'02 SS right now. If they would have made the camaro new in 2004 I never would have bought the mustang. The mustang has been a great car, but the power and tunability of the LS1 is hard to beat.

Remember, there will always be something faster. Buy what you want, not because its the fastest thing on four wheels, but because you like it. Buying a car just because its faster than X-brand stock is pointless.
