Nice man. A virgin too. Once you get your 2.8, tune and cai...it will feel like a TOTALLY different car. It looks just as good as the T/A if not better, since SS Camaros look better than T/A's any way....I know you like tha way it drives, I was blown away. Good luck man.

i respect your cobras, but whats with them being(so called dyno queens)is it true that the ls1 can keep with a o4 cobra if its got a smaller hp rating.not too much lower but id say 75 to 100 hp more.if the curve is flat on the ls1

They're awesome cars. Nothing wrong with them. They make a lot of power fairly easily.
Fastest Cobra's I've seen typically go 10's with an aftermarket blower/full bolt-on's/rearend. Fastest LS1's I typically see go 10's with an aftermarket cam/full bolt-ons/nitrous/rearend. You can do it a WHOLE lot cheaper in an LS1, but those Cobra's are soooo purty.

dont listen to these guys man do what you want, I just went from a mustang GT to an LS1, not my first tho, second F-Body and I have had 4 mustangs, this time around I went for what had the most power for the money, i like GM and ford and if I coulda afforded the insurance of the '03 cobra then I'd be drivin a cobra right now but its all what you want, but as for the '99 dont do that, it would be a step down from what you have now and you get so much more with the 03' or '04 cobras...stronger IRS, T-56, better looking front and rear fascia's, uhh the eaton SUPERCHARGER, forged internals, 12 sec timeslips stock, and the ability to make 500 rwhp with bolt-ons...so if you can find an '03 cobra then I think it would def be worth otherwise stick with the F-bod....

well what do ya say?? ya want a cobra, thats cool, altho l got my ceta and it turns heads everywhere, l have alota mustang friends and l respect their ride, the ta is unique and a headturner, whats that saying," mustangs are like azz***** everyones got one!!!" dreading when the new camaro comes out, 10 on every street, besides they look like a caddy spinoff!! the ram air design and agressive looks is a one of a kind design, hopefully never revamped, again, ya want a cobra thats your choice, knight rider is out and ya would fit right in, good luck in your decision, but remember why you got your ta to begin with!!
