Another thing, i read in the manual that the gas tank capacity is 16.8 gallons, but when i am on "E" the pump only fills it up with 13.5 gallons? Anybody else do this?

They sap up more power, the TC creates slippage, and the engine is always under a load at a stop. That explains the worse city mileage

If I read his sig correctly his currently owned F-body is a manual transmissioned TA.
Seems that his A4 was sold and the other F-body listing has "!CAGS"

I get 16 in the city and 22 on the highway. I have an A4 with the 3.23. And I have a lead foot like no other, so I'm really surprised I get that good of mileage.

So what exactly is the capacity of the gas tank again? I used to have a 2000 T/A and am thinking about once again buying one as a DD and getting rid of the truck. Just trying to see what I am looking at.

I get maybe 14 in the city and 24 on the interstate. I've never really kept track. But I know it isn't great, but then again it's not like I bought the car for the gas mileage.
