Default Factory Defects? Know of any?

Hey everyone I had a question....

What type of factory defects does anyone know about with these cars?
The reason I ask is because about a year ago I was worried my car wasn't a real WS6....why? Because the RAM AIR stickers on the hood looked off....we checked on the door jam...sure enough it's a WS6 and the hood is a factory hood also....is it possilble that there are some factory defects out there such as this? I also have seen the stickers being off on other WS6's during big meets such as Trans Am Nationals here in Ohio....some feedback if any would be greatly appreciated.

My front turn signals go out pretty often. I used to keep extra bulbs in my center console.

As far as the ram air stickers go; they're placed on by people, right? I guess everyone can't be exactly the same.

I'm with heapashifter, I had two bulbs in my glove compartment at all times. I went through numerous bulbs, 2 sockets, and 1 housing. I'm just waiting to see what constant problem my Trans Am is going to give me now...

Did you check the door code to make sure it's a real SS

True..also:
Body panel alignments (Firebird headlight covers,Camaro rear bumpers and front bumper/headlight alignment, fender alignment usually due to incorrect jacking though,)

Tranny mounts.
leaky T-tops. (although mine don't leak)
Sail panel paint.
Hatch release.
Seems like catalytic converters don't last.(is that really a problem after mods start?)
Seems like the Monsoon speakers blow out very easy.
Security (VATS) ignition key lock cylinder problems.
Piston slap
Noisy valve train in some.
Coolant sensors always going out.( I think they did away with them in 01' or 02' model year)

Any line of cars will have problems..
Mustangsmainly speaking about the Fox Bodies)
Lack of power.
Lousy alternators.
Weak trannies.
Lack of power.
Brake fade.
No electric fan.
Lack of power.
TFI Modules.
Leaky main seals.
Frail electrical wiring throughout.
Lacking in the power department.
Bad ignition switches...

But when I owned one,I still thought of them as a fun car...

Anyways...bunch of things tend to go wrong with F-bodies but I still LOVE my car...

dont worry about it, mine has that tick as well. A friend has a camaro, his has the same tick, he took it to the dealer and they said alot of them do that when they get some miles on em.

How about this one- any body have a strange rattle that sounds like its coming from somewhere under the dash?? im not talkin about just f-bods, im talking about anything gm from 2000-2003, or even newer. The reason i ask is because my grandpa's 2003 gmc sierra had a wierd rattle that sounded like it was coming from the dash, my girlfriends 2000 gmc jimmy just developed the same rattle at like 110k miles, and now, im starting to notice the same rattle in my 2000 ws6

Factory defects hmmm... for some reason my gas pedal drops to the floor nearly every day now and I don't know why?

Seriously, I think the most common defect is the door panels. A lot of people get two inch cracks on the top part of their door panels on both sides and in the same spot.
