That is absurd!

I can't believe the DA doesn't think that's criminal in nature...if the papers were signed, it should be a legal binding contract...while the dispute concerning whether the deal was a mistake or not is a civil matter, the fact that they took his vehicle is certainly criminal IMO. I don't think the burden of ensuring the accuracy of the deal should fall on the customer. Every time I have purchased a vehicle from a dealership, a sales manager or other official had to review the deal and sign off on it. Rookie sales person's mistake? Too damn bad...

Things like this really shake my faith in humanity. Honestly, some crack dealers and war lords are more ethical than those sons-of-a-bitches.

Wow...

That's really scary to hear. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THAT DA though?

I think as camaroextra joked about honestly how many people out there would sneak at night with a few matches and gas soaked rags?

They are lucky this guy isn't one of them.

Default Wtf

Sounds wrong to me, even the part about blaming a rookie sales person thats why they have managers on the floor etc, that paperwork had to have been signed by various other people not just the sales person.

Signed contract done deal, thats like a customer going in and saying, I think I paid to much please give me my car and money back, what do you think happens then ?

I think its B.S. too about the criminal case, the dealership literally "stole" his truck back I didnt see anywhere that he got his vehicle or cash back he's the owner.

He needs to find others that have had "suspecious" circumstances in dealing with the guy, take him to court and stomp a mud puddle in his ***. I do not see the dealership winning this case.

LSWon00 - Will you track and retort if you hear news ?

As for the BH in Collierville TN goes, It is the large number of 'broke' people with 'questionable' credit that keep them open and thriving.

BH is VERY VERY good at securing loans for people with problems. No credit = No problem at BH... If you got a down payment, they got your car!

The sad thing is that many times they get the car back soon after the sale in the way of a repo when the fools can't pay on time and fall behind. BH then get to sell the crap again to another fool.

My wife and I have wasted time in the past filing complaints with the BBB about them and their service.

That is absolutely rediculous. We have them around here, but I've never shopped there, myself.

Salesmen have very little say in how low they sell a car, certainly not a rookie... I mean I'm not the only one who notices this right?

Hey who are you Blown2kGTP? I see you are in Gainesville, do you know Dean, Mark and the other guys with GTP's up there. This is Brad (aka BlownPrix) from the GTP forums when I used to have my GTP.

This was my old car:

And here's what happened to it, and what I got to replace it. The Camaro is stock in this photo...it isn't any more. (GTP was taken out when a 05 Expedition ran a left red turn arrow and crossed right infront of me, impact about 45 mph.)

They also own two Chevy dealers in Houston, both of which I have had terrible experiences with. I'd never buy from them.
