I was wondering, I know its had to happen before but has anyone ever lost stock vs stock ls1 vs stang? maybe you had a 6 speed and couldnt drive or something I was just wondering. ( i know teh new stangs are tough but still supposed to be slower than ls1's)

P.S. So you know ive never lost to a stock stang just blown em away but I was just wondering.

 

depends what kinda stang, 04 or older GT's dont have ****, if you loose to one you just suck at driving, 99-02 cobras decent as well as the 05+GT's, but the 03-04 cobras will kill you stock for stock pretty much

 

I ran a few when i was stock and the only one that got me was a terminator, which i knew was gonna happen but i ran him anyway. I did run couple 99-04 style and 1 05', the 05' car was a close race but i pulled him on big end. I didn't stay stock very long so i didn't get to do much stock to stock racin'.

4v Cobra's can outdrive you...the others no...05 gt's too...

nope. I had a problem with a terminator. but I had a little giggle juice to push me past him.

 

i raced a 05 or 06 GT vert and lost by about a car lenth. I came back and we lined up again and i got him by about a lenth

I ran my best of 13.3@106 on that run

That night i beat the folowing cars

03 or 04 MACH1 (He got me through the 1/8 mile but I got him by the end of the 1/4 by abouth a car lenth

a Nissan 350Z Got him by about 4 or so car lenths (He was not wearing a helmet so he was a 14.0 or slower

Two SRT4 Neons I guess they could not drive cuz the could not break 100 MPH in the 1/4

 

If you consider a Lid and Shifter close to stock, I beat a 99/01 Cobra Vert (top up) on the Highway before until he sprayed me in the 2nd race.

Beat a 99/01 Cobra Vert (top down) on the streets right after changing my bad knock sensors out and slapping the LS6 intake on. He at least had exhaust though I believe and hung pretty good.

I think they '02 Cobras were the fastest. Great race for an '03 SS or TA.

 

ya i know the 03 and on cobras are tough I was just wondering so I guess 1 person has lost in their a4 but with big tires, but ive been killing the **** out of those cars new or old! thanx for the input guys

 

I wouldn't admit it if I lost to a stock Mustang.

 

I lost to a stock SN95 mustang vert. my very first night in my Trans Am. It was also my very first time driving a stick, so it doesn't really count.
