Default ws6 vs. ws6

Two friends of mine have 2000 ws6 t/a's. Both of them had the cars dynoed at the same place. One of them had installed an eagle crank ls1 hot cam l/t headers and a dyno tune, his car put out 380rwhp and 380rwtq. The other one is a factory freak, with only free mods and a knock off flow master muffler he dynoed 327rwhp and 334rwtq. After all this information was gathered we wanted to see what 57 more hp would so they went from a 50 roll to 120 and all he had was a nose on the car with less hp. that just doesnt make sence. That much hp should have been more than just a couple feet. If anyone can explain this to me please do. I am at a loss

Either one of them have gears in the car?

Maybe one of them just really sucks at driving.

If one of them hasn't installed different gears, then its the driver.

A perfect example of the "driver mod". If you can't put that horsepower to use, then it's a waste. Most folks can't drive to the cars full potential, including me.

But it is from a kick, not much driver skill in that other than flooring it, and making your shifts. Both of them have stock rear ends with stock gears.
