Your forgetting about weight. New Escalade's have like 350 hp or something, but they would get walked by a Honda S2000 with 220hp. Why? WEIGHT! That's why most Corvette's are faster than Fbodies straight out of the box. Same engine, but the Vette comes in plenty lighter.

stock vette and stock F-body... yea right when I got my 01 ws6 A4(stock) I walked all over ls1 vettes even one with small mods.

I have beaten Vette's as well when I was stock. But generally it's due to the "!driver mod". I'd put my money on a Ybody over a stock Fbody with equal drivers every time.

i know what your getting at but doesnt the 05,06 GTO's put down like 350ish RWHP? Assuming M6.

05/06 is the 6.0L Ls2...not familiar with what they are dynoing stock...probably 340-360ish with some lucky fellows getting 370's. Whatever the C6's are doing. But I think the lightest GTO is 4000 on a good day. So even our fat Fbodies are skinny in comparison.

On LS2 board, I see them dyno'n around 330-340 stock. Never seen a 360, let alone a 370.

yup, if i got a GTO it wouldnt stay stock anyways so i guess its all up to the owner on how fast it would be. now a C6 i would like to have but there so much more expensive.

I dynoed my 02 Firehawk stock it put down 319hp 338tq through a 6spd
