Do you see any snow at all? Where are you located and do you still have your 2001 z28? If so I say take the jeep, if you dont have an ls1 and you are located in an area that doesnt see snow then get the tranny.

There is really no comparision between these 2 vehicles, they serve different purposes. One is a go fast have fun car. The other is a slow lumbering off roader. Decide what your purpose is and that will tell you what to buy.
But it seems like you really want a T/A so I voted for that

Uh, I vote WS6. Only way my vote would be different is if you plan to drive this car in the snow. Then the Jeep just makes more sense. But for any other purpose, I'd vote WS6
PS. That is one clean Trans Am. Looks as clean as my garage queen Z28.

jeep since 1996 was my dream car, now got into LS1's so both choices are driving me crazy right now cuz we need to decide tomorrow for last day of employee price shut, that trans am looks so clean, but jeep looks cool too I went to see it today and is a nice car too.

PS. The price ($20,900) on the WS6 seems very fair (assuming it's at a dealer) considering the year, miles and condition

Depends if you have the Z still. For the rest of my life as long as I own at least one car, I'll have a fast one.
The second kind of vehicle I'll own before I die is some beater jeep that I can off-road in, dent, scratch, tip over, and not give 2 ***** about.

I'd go with the 'bird too. I see that it was at the G10 F-Body Gathering back in May. I did the artwork used on the dash plaque that is stuck next to the air box.

TA for sure. Jeeps are good pleasure vehicles but thats about it. Expect 14mpg or worse in the jeep. I would love to have a jeep for a second pleasure vehicle though. Im used to jarring rides but I can only take riding in my friends jeep for so long.
