First of all, if you can't afford the extra $$$ for an LS1 how the heck do you plan on turboing a civic? Second of all, even if you could make the civic faster than an LS1, why? You'd have to close your eyes and ears to enjoy it, and even then it'd be like having a dude suck your dick. It may get the same end result, but it will be horrible to get there and once you are there you'll be too embarrased to tell anyone. An LT1 would be nice, just get a TA. I'm not a fan of the LT1 Camaros. A buddy of mine got a 95 LT1 Formula. You can get a really nice Forumla for $7000.

i am 18 and just bought my t/a for 16500 i go to school and work full time on 3rd shift making 10 bucks an hour, not the greatest, but better than nothing. I sold my truck that I had before for 9000 and covered the rest with a loan. I pay like 250 a month for the car. As for insurance, I am the one registering the vehicle, so it's in my name but I use my fathers AAA insurance, it cost me 104 dollars a month. Hope that helps a little

Ditto!!!! I dreamed of having a bad azz car when I was in college, but I waited and it payed off in the long run.

if you cant find an LS1 get a foxbody, no disrespect to the LT1 guys but every person Ive ever known that has had an LT1 has spent so much time just trying to find out whats wrong with it from week to week, its like a new problem comes up everyday with those motors, again this is just my experience, and Ive had LS1's, 5.0's and 4.6's and they are all very great dd's, can take abuse every now and then, and last 150k easy when taken care of....
